Best Camera yet Jul 11, 2011
By csciabarasi I was given this camera for my 15th birthday my freshman year of highschool. My father who is a professional photographer gave it to me as an "easy camera to begin with". I have had it for more than 4 years now, and still use it to this very day. Though it's easy to use, it doesn't mean anything less of quality or performance. I have taken so many amazing pictures with it and I even prefer it over my new more professional Nikon D3100! Unlike the D3100, it doesn't question me whether or not I want to take the picture. It takes a picture when I tell it to. Takes multiple pictures within second time frames, great 10 minute videos, and I personally love the night settings of Twilight and Twilight Portrait.
I always carry it with me in my purse, which is so much better than a bulky camera case. Sure, it has gotten beaten up over the years in a purse and all throughout highschool but it still pulls through! It is EXTREMELY durable. When off, one of the shutter covers over the lens doesn't close because I dropped it at the beach once and sand got in it. It stills works though! Also, I have noticed a black spot in the corner of every picture I take, and my father says that I somehow damaged my censor inside the camera. It still takes good pictures though (though sometimes I have to easily photoshop the dot out)!
I feel bad when I see how beaten up it has become, but it really is the best camera. Though battered and bruised, it refuses to give up on taking amazing pictures. I take it on vacations, to amusement parks, family outings, and now to college. I even used it to take pictures for my school yearbook.
Some people may say that it takes blurry pictures. It's not always the camera. You can't be jumping and running and expect it to take perfectly focused pictures -.- Though when comparing to my friend's "Steady-shot" when mine is a "Super Steady-shot", this one was more stable, focused and clearer pictures! :D
With my D3100 confusing me all the time, and this one getting old, I will eventually need another one to be in between the two. But for now and many years ahead, my Sony Cybershot Super Steady Shot DSC-W120 will always be my favorite. :)
Great camera Apr 28, 2011
By Shay I love the Sony Cybershot. I love it so much, that when my old model got stolen from my car I went out and bought the exact same one as a replacement. I have had no issues with the camera or importing pictures onto my computer. It takes great point and shoot pictures. Certainly there are more advanced cameras out there now, but if you are looking for a great, reliable, and durable camera; this is it! It has a lot of great settings that you can play around with and also an easy mode for simple point and shoot.
Small, lightweight, stylish, well made and shoots a great picture Oct 14, 2009
By Cute Chihuahua This camera shoots an awesome picture and it's small, stylish and lightweight. It seems to be made very well and I have no complaints about it whatsoever. We have used this camera for about six months now and I don't think it has ever taken a bad picture. It will take a great picture and it will also record video with sound. It has all the bells and whistles like red eye reduction, still shot and special effects. I think it's well worth the money.

DO NOT BUY you've been warned Sep 08, 2010

"Hay"
AFTER buying a 'special Sony' card that cannot be used on any other gadget
AFTER buying a 'special Sony' card reader because the reader ON my laptop (or any other laptop) does NOT read Sony special cards.
I find the photo quality is the same as my kid's cheap cell phone. I am sad this was a gift and cannot return it because I CANNOT USE IT!!! My 3y digital Kodak with half the 'megapixels' is 100 x better.
I am out for the card and reader! If you buy a gift never buy Sony!!!!!! No gift should require further purchases then be found USELESS.
9/13/2010 Update. A picture is worth a thousand words so make sure to check out my photos I took with this Sony. You decide which is the best, my old Kodak or the new Sony.
Added note I did find a card reader but have left it at home 3 times when I needed it at work! What a major pain!
