5Comprehensive resource  Feb 06, 2009 By Renee Calabrese
This is one of the most comprehensive books I've come across in terms of addressing the breadth of sustainability. It addresses more than just materials. It shows the interconnectivity of packaging, processes and social impact of our decisions.

5Sustainability in one neat, eco-friendly package  Mar 01, 2011 By Tiffany Threadgould
Packaging Sustainability is an essential resource to understand packaging design, how it's made, and how to create it more sustainably.
It's perfect not only for anyone involved with creating product packaging, but also for anyone who uses product packaging - which encompasses just about everyone.

5Packaging AND Product, Service, System Design  Sep 17, 2010 By Jason Mcvay
A product's packaging is also a designed product. Wendy Jedlicka used this simple, but often overlooked idea and made packaging the focal point of an in-depth book about sustainable design.

This choice opened up my eyes and mind to the opportunities for positive environmental impact when designers consider the package early is the product design process.

I recommend this incredible resource for product and system designers, as well as business leaders in product or packaging design. The book explains the need for change and provides practical tools for implementing it.

5Appreciating Packaging  Jan 28, 2009 By Rosanna Cavanaugh
There are many considerations that are involved in sustainable packaging, everything from engineering to psychology to anthropology to art. The concept of sustainable packaging has seen some hype in the past few years, especially since the introduction of biopolymers. But, sustainable packaging is not only about materials,it is much more about design that encompasses all aspects of packaging, its functionality, its aesthetic quality, and its life cycle. This book looks at packaging from all angles. It will be very appreciated by anyone who has an interest or a stake in packaging. It is obvious how much thought went into it. It should be used as a reference for packaging professionals.
