On The edge offers plenty of evidence as to why Vogue has ruled the high fashion press.Carefully edited content that have been visually realized by the best stylists, photographers, models, hair and makeup artists working as a team.Sometimes classic,often original,occasionally startling,yet always making an exciting statement about the current state of women's lives, looks and desires. Each editor-in-chief having pushed the magazine in a new, fresh direction ,influenced by the style leaders of each era. The eye of the iron willed editorial director, mr.Lieberman was also critical in keeping the taste at a certain, consistant level over several decades. The extra-bold graphic design of the book only adds to it's chic appeal,beyond cataloging it's,fascinating ,historical achievements in selling clothing and accessories with a strong dose of fantasy.
