The nylon bristles of the D-SLR BrushTM are statically charged by blowing air through them. This not only charges the brush but it helps dislodge and remove any previously captured dust particles still in the brush. With a freshly charged brush, you whisk ever so lightly across the sensor, the charge on the bristles attracts the dust from the sensor onto the bristles leaving you with a clean sensor. No sensor cleaning brush will totally eliminate the need for the wet method of sensor cleaning, but with the D-SLR BrushTM you won't have to use the wet method as often, saving you time, products and money. The D-SLR BrushTM kit comes complete with: 1 D-SLR BrushTM & 3 ChamberSwabsTM packaged inside of a polyurethane tube for protection and storage while traveling. This kit also comes with printed instructions, all of this inside a resealable, hangable 2 mil plastic bag. | | | |

Great Quicky. Mar 22, 2009
By ChaCha Maybe I should give it 5, but I only used it once so far.
The air blowing bulb things do nothing for me, and the wet solutions always take me so long. This was fast, and got almost everything off. I was lucky in that the only spot left was so faint, I didn't want to bother with my wet cleaner. took me about one minute when the wet swabs usually take me at least 10 minutes, doing over and over again. From now on I will probably always do this to get all the loose dust out of the way before I pull the swabs out for the sticky spots.

Great quick-cleaning. Does the trick. Oct 04, 2010
By AndyS My rocket blower doesn't always do the trick, and most of the time Liquid solution cleaning is just overkill. This brush does the trickl. I use it with a sensor loupe so I can see what's going on, and I get a clean sensor every time. This is my second "Go-to" in my cleaning process, and rarely do I go the next step to chemical sensor swabbing. This was a great buy!

perfect for the full frame camera Aug 05, 2008

If it does not blow off, and you cannot use this brush to sweep it off, it is really stuck. Easy, gentle, and logical. Highly recommended.

Read the instructions CAREFULLY Dec 02, 2010
By Paik Y. Cook There were two tiny specs I could not get rid of with a blower. That was the reason I tried this one. I swept the sensor with this brush. The result? I added streaks to the sensor. Now I am waiting for the order of wet solution.
After all, I did not read the instructions carefully: "Whisk across the sensor ONCE. You are not sweeping the sensor. You are attracting the dust particles off the sensor"
