 Great product Feb 15, 2010
Great price and a great product. I have been using Adobe for years and this was simply an upgrade to the newer version for my computer.

CS4 is incredible. I've been using adobe products for years and have gotten amazing results. The only thing that I was surprised with was that this product came in small packaging without real paper manuals. The manuals were on the disks in the form of pdf's. So make sure you realize this before purchasing.
Artist friendly: Adobe Creative Suite 4 Production Premium Dec 03, 2009
I've been using Photoshop for a decade and have only recently decoded to upgrade to the creative suite. Reason? No other graphics software has been as useful, dependable and trouble free as Photoshop.
Is Adobe greedy and rapacious? Yes, but their software kicks ass. Are they spying online like Big Brother to protect their license? Yes, but welcome to the 21st century. Could they release a multi platform edition of their software? Certainly, but these programs are so deep, and so broad, that it would cost them time and money to do it, and cost them sales on the other end. How many businesses do you know that are willing to spend money to lose money? If you really want something to complain about, buy practically anything from Microsoft. Probably no corporation in America deserves more than 3 stars. Even Apple would rather blame their customers for exploding batteries than just replace them. I had to threaten to put mine on YouTube before they would replace it.
The Creative Suite disc demo cost me less than $20 with shipping, but Adobe didn't tell me that some functions would be disabled. The first week the demo allowed me to log on day by day and use the 30 day trial on non contiguous days. After that, Bridge began starting up on its own, eating my demo days when I wasn't using them. When I called to get a serial # I was told they would ship new packaging and I would have to wait 3 shipping days. Customer service suggested I buy the serial # online, but that it wouldn't arrive until the next day after my credit card was verified. Is it my imagination, or have credit card purchase verifications sped up since the 70's? But no matter; the pertinent window on their site wouldn't open in the 15 minutes I waited, despite my DSL service. Ironic, considering the intuitive efficiency of their software.

 Adobe Rips Off The Consumer! Oct 21, 2009
ADOBE STINKS! I originally purchased my Creative Suite AND the CS3 upgrade for my PC, now that I am mainly using a MAC I want to upgrade it to CS4 and Adobe wants me to pay FULL PRICE or trash the suites loaded on my PC! WTF? Why on earth should I have to pay for a FULL VERSION of CS4 when I already purchased the CS3 upgrade, just because the computer of choice I am now using is a mac? Why can't Adobe offer a creative suite that is compatible with both platforms? Because Adobe is greedy, that's why! This company is the biggest rip off to the consumer I have ever seen!

Returned To Amazon--Found a Better Price Mar 11, 2009
I purchased this product from Amazon, but by the time I received the product I found a better price ($200.00 less) so I returned product and purchased from the cheaper seller. The product is installed and working fine. You know the power of this software if you are considering purchasing it. The bundle is great.
