4Concise and on Target  Feb 18, 2009 By Bookminder
This book is up-to-date in the samples of design that it portrays. Its compact square size was a surprise.
My only wish is that it said a little more about the projects presented. They are all well-designed. The information on them is very bare-bones. It is a welcome addition to my library of design.

1Not what I expected from 1000 series  Aug 26, 2010 By r.brandon
I expected alot more from this book, I have a few of the other 1000 series books and they have much more modern designs featured in them. This one seemed to have amature designs throughout the whole thing, I only actually liked maybe 10 pages? The designs just seemed to be lacking in the wow factor, nothing grabbed my attention.
Very dissapointed in this book, its definitely NOT a must have book.

2Mediocre at best  Mar 02, 2009 By D. Wold
the book offers very little in presentation that may inspire. it is rather small and arbitrarily put together - so much so that several pages repeat throughout the book. weak and lackluster is an accurate description, not exactly what i have come to expect from rockport publishing.
